The resplendent annual Perahara Ceremony of Sri Kalyàni Dhamma Vidyalaya graced the sixth of January, 2025, in a display of glorious tradition and sacred reverence.

We are a dedicated community of alumni from Sri Kalyani Dharma Vidyalaya, the spiritual and educational extension of the Sri Kalyani Royal Temple. Our association unites past students to actively support the Vidyalaya's mission and ensure its continued impact on current and future generations.

Most Ven. Professor Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangharakkhitha Maha thera Chief Incumbent (Viharadhipati)

Under the competent guidance of the Ven. Maha Thera, the Sunday Dhamma School of Kelani Vihara was reorganized and given a new lift to suit modern times. It has already proved itself to be the best in Kelaniya.

Sangharakkhitha Thera was appointed chief incumbent of the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara in 1992. Since then his unique leadership and guidance pawed the way for the Kelaniya temple to be marked on the world map much brighter as a place of worship for the Buddhist world and a seat of learning for international students.
